I had almost exclusively only Ducati motorcycles, but there was a short interval of time in which, together with the 1199, I also drove a Harley Davidson, because it was the time when my wife also went on a motorcycle and she had, indeed still has, her Harley: so, in order to ride around together, I often betrayed my Ducati for the Harley.

La storia non è durata molto, la mia passione era ed è sempre stata per le moto supersportive e principalmente per le Ducati, quindi decisi di vendere la mia 1199 e la mia Harley per coronare il desiderio che avevo di possedere un modello R. Ecco che grazie alla vendita delle due moto, e con un’aggiunta di un po’ di euro, mi sono comprato quella che nel 2017 era l’ultima nata per le corse in SBK: la nuova Panigale R. Beautiful!

This August I started to reflect and, so much to get information and out of curiosity, I went to my trusted Ducati dealership in Florence and began to hypothesize the trade-in with the new V4 R. Then I saw the Panigale V4 – 25th Anniversary 916, also beautiful! A little more expensive, but really gorgeous. In short, at this point in history I make it short; today no. 89 of 500 is in my garage!

Dear Leandro, congratulations for having purchased a bike that is in many ways unique, both for its technical contents and for what it represents; in fact, this model was presented by Ducati last year, just to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the 916, the bike that when it appeared on the market made all the other supersports cars look like they were from another era.

A real icon, therefore, not only for Ducati, but for all motorcycling. Then there is the technical discourse, because the Anniversary, despite being based
on the Panigale V4 S,
has a whole series of technical contents of absolute value, among which we remember, among others, the dry clutch. Finally, a whole series of electronic controls that make it even more suitable for use on the track, as evidenced by that number 1 reported on the dome and fairings.

We can therefore well imagine the satisfaction in driving such a content of history and technology, made even more exclusive by the edition limited to only 500 pieces!
