The dawn of the 47 years approaching, the spring of a stormy 2020, a crazy companion… that suddenly thunders…”I want my first bike”. After years of competitions, sports bikes always under the butt, the track as the only lifestyle, 3 children and an active on their own put an end to that rather expensive passion 2013.Il the year at work leads me, to my immense fortune, to have not one, but several bikes, to try 365 days a year ma…..la their own bike is another thing. Loving the total black I try to eliminate the aluminum view parts (light frames and dashboard), I apply my old and dear race number on the sides, I eliminate the reflectors present on the fork, and I install the starace s kit that, improving the breathing of the standard airbox greatly improves the performance of the engine.
Together with this modification I mount a linear gas control kit because (few people know), to facilitate newbies and less experienced motorcyclists, the conformation of the “semielliptical” gas control, greatly tempers the performance of the engine in the first opening of the accelerator.

But…..how’s this Scramblerina?

Well…… many years have passed since my first bike, when, in 1994, I bought one of the first Ducati Monster 600 produced in Borgo Panigale.The sensations just climbed in the saddle have brought me back to those years, it facilitates extreme driving, fun, a few frills and a motorcycle that, every day, even on the simple journey home work, makes you enjoy with its simplicity and agility almost unbeatable.
The improvements at the engine level have also given the small twin-cylinder, that extra pinch of pepper that does not hurt, especially at the most frequently used speeds (4000/6000 rpm). The air protection is bearable up to 120/130 even for long stretches, the braking system if used correctly allows to have braking spaces more than acceptable even if, in the most satiated use the Abs is rather invasive due to a calibration marked very much by safety, as is appropriate for a motorcycle with these characteristics.
The consumption in classic use despite the small tank allows you to travel through 250 km without stops and are rather contained. The only drawback is the poorly supported rear shock absorber,which, especially in torque use, tends to denote its limits, which also emerge in the pushed use.
So if you are looking for an easy, fun and everyday bike, this Scrambler could be the bike for you.
